وَلِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكيلًا

Everything in the heavens and on earth is God’s, and God is enough to rely upon.

إِن يَشَأ يُذهِبكُم أَيُّهَا النّاسُ وَيَأتِ بِآخَرينَ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ عَلىٰ ذٰلِكَ قَديرًا

If He wills, He can eliminate you, O people, and bring about others. God has the power to do this.

مَن كانَ يُريدُ ثَوابَ الدُّنيا فَعِندَ اللَّهِ ثَوابُ الدُّنيا وَالآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ سَميعًا بَصيرًا

Whoever desires the reward of this world—with God is the reward of the world and the Hereafter. God is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا كونوا قَوّامينَ بِالقِسطِ شُهَداءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَو عَلىٰ أَنفُسِكُم أَوِ الوالِدَينِ وَالأَقرَبينَ ۚ إِن يَكُن غَنِيًّا أَو فَقيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَولىٰ بِهِما ۖ فَلا تَتَّبِعُوا الهَوىٰ أَن تَعدِلوا ۚ وَإِن تَلووا أَو تُعرِضوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرًا

O you who believe, stand firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even if against yourselves, or your parents, or your relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, God is more worthy of both. So, don’t follow personal inclination to avoid justice. If you distort or refuse—God is fully aware of what you do.

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا آمِنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ وَالكِتابِ الَّذي نَزَّلَ عَلىٰ رَسولِهِ وَالكِتابِ الَّذي أَنزَلَ مِن قَبلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكفُر بِاللَّهِ وَمَلائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَاليَومِ الآخِرِ فَقَد ضَلَّ ضَلالًا بَعيدًا

O you who believe, believe in God and His Messenger, and the Scripture He revealed to His Messenger, and the Scripture He revealed before. Whoever denies God, His angels, His Scriptures, His messengers, and the Last Day, has strayed far away.

بَشِّرِ المُنافِقينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم عَذابًا أَليمًا

Announce to the hypocrites that they will have a painful torment.

الَّذينَ يَتَّخِذونَ الكافِرينَ أَولِياءَ مِن دونِ المُؤمِنينَ ۚ أَيَبتَغونَ عِندَهُمُ العِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَميعًا

Those who take unbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor and power? All honor and power belong to God alone.

وَقَد نَزَّلَ عَلَيكُم فِي الكِتابِ أَن إِذا سَمِعتُم آياتِ اللَّهِ يُكفَرُ بِها وَيُستَهزَأُ بِها فَلا تَقعُدوا مَعَهُم حَتّىٰ يَخوضوا في حَديثٍ غَيرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُم إِذًا مِثلُهُم ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جامِعُ المُنافِقينَ وَالكافِرينَ في جَهَنَّمَ جَميعًا

He revealed to you in the Scripture that when you hear God’s verses being denied and ridiculed, don’t sit with them until they change the topic, lest you become like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the unbelievers in Hell, all together.

الَّذينَ يَتَرَبَّصونَ بِكُم فَإِن كانَ لَكُم فَتحٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ قالوا أَلَم نَكُن مَعَكُم وَإِن كانَ لِلكافِرينَ نَصيبٌ قالوا أَلَم نَستَحوِذ عَلَيكُم وَنَمنَعكُم مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ ۚ فَاللَّهُ يَحكُمُ بَينَكُم يَومَ القِيامَةِ ۗ وَلَن يَجعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلكافِرينَ عَلَى المُؤمِنينَ سَبيلًا

Those who eagerly await your downfall: when God’s victory is granted to you, they question, “Were we not with you?” Yet, if the unbelievers have a moment of success, they ask, “Didn’t we stand by your side and protect you from the believers?” On the Day of Resurrection, God will judge between you. God won’t allow the unbelievers to triumph over the believers.

إِنَّ المُنافِقينَ يُخادِعونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خادِعُهُم وَإِذا قاموا إِلَى الصَّلاةِ قاموا كُسالىٰ يُراءونَ النّاسَ وَلا يَذكُرونَ اللَّهَ إِلّا قَليلًا

The hypocrites seek to deceive God, but He causes them to be deceived. When they rise for prayer, they do so lethargically, merely to be seen by others, and they barely remember God.
