لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ ۘ وَقالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِن عِبادِكَ نَصيبًا مَفروضًا

God has cursed him. He said, “I will take a portion of Your servants.”

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُم وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُم وَلَآمُرَنَّهُم فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذانَ الأَنعامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُم فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلقَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيطانَ وَلِيًّا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ فَقَد خَسِرَ خُسرانًا مُبينًا

“I will mislead them, I will entice them, I will command them to slit the ears of cattle, I will command them and they will change the creation of God.” Whoever takes Satan as a friend instead of God has suffered an evident loss.

يَعِدُهُم وَيُمَنّيهِم ۖ وَما يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيطانُ إِلّا غُرورًا

Satan makes promises to them and arouses desires in them. But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.

أُولـٰئِكَ مَأواهُم جَهَنَّمُ وَلا يَجِدونَ عَنها مَحيصًا

These are the ones whose place is Hell, and they will find no way to escape from it.

وَالَّذينَ آمَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّالِحاتِ سَنُدخِلُهُم جَنّاتٍ تَجري مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهارُ خالِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۖ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَن أَصدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قيلًا

However, those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will admit them into gardens through which rivers flow, where they will reside forever. This is God’s true promise, and who is truer in speech than God?

وَمَن يَعمَل مِنَ الصّالِحاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَو أُنثىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤمِنٌ فَأُولـٰئِكَ يَدخُلونَ الجَنَّةَ وَلا يُظلَمونَ نَقيرًا

And whoever works righteousness, male or female, and is a believer—these will enter Paradise, and they won’t be wronged even as much as a speck.

وَمَن أَحسَنُ دينًا مِمَّن أَسلَمَ وَجهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبراهيمَ حَنيفًا ۗ وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبراهيمَ خَليلًا

Who is better in religion than one who surrenders his whole being to God, acts virtuously, and follows the monotheistic creed of Abraham? God chose Abraham as a cherished friend.

وَلِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ مُحيطًا

Everything within the heavens and the earth belongs to God, and God encompasses all things.

وَيَستَفتونَكَ فِي النِّساءِ ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفتيكُم فيهِنَّ وَما يُتلىٰ عَلَيكُم فِي الكِتابِ في يَتامَى النِّساءِ اللّاتي لا تُؤتونَهُنَّ ما كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرغَبونَ أَن تَنكِحوهُنَّ وَالمُستَضعَفينَ مِنَ الوِلدانِ وَأَن تَقوموا لِليَتامىٰ بِالقِسطِ ۚ وَما تَفعَلوا مِن خَيرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ بِهِ عَليمًا

They ask you for a legal ruling concerning women. Say, “God gives you a legal ruling about them, as well as what was communicated to you in the Scripture concerning orphan girls whom you deny what’s prescribed for them and yet you wish to marry, and concerning the vulnerable among children. You are urged to treat orphans with fairness.” Whatever good you do, God is fully aware of it.

وَإِنِ امرَأَةٌ خافَت مِن بَعلِها نُشوزًا أَو إِعراضًا فَلا جُناحَ عَلَيهِما أَن يُصلِحا بَينَهُما صُلحًا ۚ وَالصُّلحُ خَيرٌ ۗ وَأُحضِرَتِ الأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ۚ وَإِن تُحسِنوا وَتَتَّقوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرًا

If a woman fears ill-treatment or estrangement from her husband, there is no fault in them if they reconcile. Reconciliation is always preferable, yet human nature gravitates towards selfishness. If you behave with righteousness and reverence, God is Ever-Aware of what you do.
